WELCOME
Tara Parian is a queer, Los Angeles-based writer/director originally from the wilderness of New Hampshire. For the past ten years she was a staple on the BuzzFeed Studios branded content team. Starting as a copywriter and working her way up to in-house director, she wrote and directed hundreds of pieces of content during her time there.
Tara has directed everything from short scripted comedies to celebrity press junket videos and award winning short documentary pieces. She’s been honored with a Best in Show Advertising Award and is a Webby Award Honoree. Tara is a fellow of the prestigious Ryan Murphy HALF Directing Initiative where she shadowed an episode of 9-1-1 Lonestar on FOX. Prior to that she was accepted into the Alliance of Women Directors Shadow Program, the Women in Film Mentorship Program and multiple Sundance Directing Initiatives.
STAND UP AND EAT
This three season web series features up-and-coming comedians to find out what they eat over the sink when no one's watching. It received attention from a variety of publications including Bust Magazine and was featured in the LA Comedy Film Festival. Comedians included Emily Tarver, Matteo Lane and Jacqueline Novak.
BEAN BIN PRODUCTIONS
Bean Bin Productions is a sketch comedy group made up of five talented women. Tara directed, produced, wrote and starred in an array of videos, some of which were featured on Above Average.
Before BuzzFeed, Tara was associate producing for Bravo's The Real Housewives of Miami, Married to Medicine, and MTV's MADE.
